Touch PDA

The touch PDA is largely considered the wave of the future. Touch screen technology has many advantages over those that use a keyboard. Visual aesthetics are just one of many.

A touch PDA generally has a much larger display screen and can be made much thinner than those with a keyboard. By eliminating the keyboard, the display can be extended to the edges of the device, providing a much more precise view screen. The larger viewing area has been one of the primary selling points of these devices.

The touch PDA is a relative new comer to the industry, but has quickly become the PDA of choice. The touch screen technology used in these devices is also being applied to other types of computers as well. Several computer makers have adopted the touch screen to their home computers and laptops.
